Mother Nature gives the Makushin Geothermal Power Project a helping hand. During the 2020/2021 winter, storms rearranged the Broad Bay landing site. The river mouth moved 200 meters north and formed a new beach.
Broad Bay is the location closest to the base of the valley leading up to the Makushin Volcano. and proposed site of the Makushin Geothermal plant.
