Worked with placer miners on gravity gold recovery systems, including jigs, tables, Reichert Spirals in comparison to sluice. Conducted simple aerial survey of placer mines throughout in Alaska for use in obtaining US Army Corps of Engineers 404 wetlands permits. Environmental decommission of first gold heap leach in Alaska.
Retired, 2012, Alaska Dept of Transportation, Northern Region* Environmental Manager after obtaining NEPA, NHPA, and permits for about $930 million in transportation projects.
Special assistant to Lieutenant Governor Jack Coghill, Legislative Aide in State House, Retired again in 2014 as Senate Finance Aide with focus on energy issues.
